This was the first major research paper I wrote as a college student at Brigham Young University - Idaho. In all other research papers I before this, I had always chosen a side and argued for that side inside a research paper. This paper was solely meant to be explanatory and informational, which was difficult for me to remember as I presented my research.

After turning in this paper, I received an A grade and felt grateful for the experience to learn to write a different kind of paper than what I was used to before college. I also wrote about a topic and became passionate about something that had never really crossed my mind before.
